The Geography of Bhutan is the tiny Kingdom of Bhutan lies hidden in the folds of the eastern Himalayas sandwiched between the two giant countries of India in the south and China in the north. With a total area of 38,398 sq kilometers, approximately the size of Switzerland, Bhutan is a mountainous country except for a small flat strip in the southern foothills is known as the last Shangri-La of Himalaya. Sacred mask dances and folk dances are performed by the Central Monastic Body, as well as the public of a particular district.
Note: As such, it will be raising the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) of USD:65 per person per night for tourists to USD:200, which will go towards activities that promote carbon-neutral tourism and build a more sustainable tourism sector. This includes offsetting the carbon footprint of tourists and upskilling workers in the sector. Indian tourists will pay a previously stipulated fee, which will be revised at a later date. The rate refers to the minimum sum paid by all tourists for an all-inclusive package tour to Bhutan.

Day 1: Arrive Paro by Druk Air or Bhutan Airlines & transfer to Thimphu
Day 2: Thimphu – Paro (55 km, 2 hour’s drive)

Day 01: Arrive Paro by Druk Air or Bhutan Airlines & transfer to Thimphu

On arrival at Paro airport, you will be met by our representative. On completion of airport formalities, there will be an interesting drive of about 2 hour’s duration to Thimphu, the modern capital town of Bhutan. Evening free. Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.
Day 02: Thimphu – Paro (55 km, 2 hour’s drive)
Thimphu, perhaps the most unusual capital city in the world, is the seat of government. This bustling town is home to Bhutan’s Royal family, the civil servants, and foreign missions with representation in Bhutan. It is also the headquarters for a number of internationally funded development projects.
Morning visit to visit the National Memorial Chorten. The building of this landmark was originally envisaged by Bhutan’s third king, His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuk (“the father of modern Bhutan”) who has wished to erect the monument to world peace and prosperity. Completed in 1974 after his untimely death, it serves both as a memorial to the Late King and as a monument to peace. Also visit the Buddha Point, Zoo, Royal Textile Museums, a fascinating testimony of Bhutan’s living traditions.
Evening Trashichho dzong, the beautiful medieval fortress/monastery which houses most of the Government’s office and King’s Throne room it is also the summer residence of Je Khenpo, the Chief Abbot.
Day 03: Early morning drive to Paro.
The valley of Paro contains a wealth of attractions. Visit Tiger Nests and afternoon visit Ta Dzong, once a watchtower, built to defend Rinpung Dzong during inter-valley wars of the 17th century, Ta Dzong was inaugurated as Bhutan’s National Museum in 1968. Afterward, walk down a hillside trail to visit Rinpung Dzong, which has a long and fascinating history. The evening takes a stroll around Paro Main Street. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.
Day 04: Depart Paro
After breakfast drive to the airport for flight to onward destination.
